We made the change at the end of 2025. Here's what it meant, and what it didn't.

Yes, in every way that matters to you.
Same address, same team, same chefs. If you had a regular order at Drury N4, it's still on. Nobody sold up, nobody moved, and the café didn't close for a single day. If you've seen old reviews or an old listing under the previous name, they're about us. A fair few of them still are, because Tripadvisor and a handful of other sites are slower to catch up than we'd like.
Where the name came from
Drury N4 was a name about a place. Dear Diana is a name about how the place feels. We wanted something that sounded like a letter rather than a location, because that's closer to what we were trying to build here, and the old name never quite got there.
It took months of arguing about it, which is roughly what you'd expect from a team that argues about coffee.
What actually changed
We'd be stretching it to tell you nothing changed. A few things did.
The kitchen used the rebrand as a reason to push the brunch menu further. The core is intact, so the dishes you came back for are still there. The Salt Beef bun with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. The American Diner, which remains the biggest plate we send out. The Medi Bowl and the avo on sourdough for anyone eating lighter. Around those we've added more, and our Signature Baklava Pancake has become the thing people photograph before they eat it.
The coffee didn't change at all. Same beans, same grinder, same person who knows how you take it. A flat white is still a flat white.
What we did add was everything that happens outside a normal café day. We're licensed now, so the bar runs alongside brunch at weekends. We host supper clubs and visiting chefs a few times a year, which is the part of the change we're proudest of.
